ORA-01931: cannot grant string to a role

Cause: REFERENCES, INDEX, SYSDBA, SYSOPER or SYSASM privilege could not be granted to a role. See the solution below.

Error solution: Grant privilege directly to the user.

Database version: Oracle 11g Release 2 (11.2)
