ORA-02307: cannot alter with REPLACE option a type that is not valid

Cause: An attempt was made to ALTER with REPLACE option a type that is not valid. See the solution below.

Error solution: Use the CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE command to modify the type.

Database version: Oracle 11g Release 2 (11.2)
