ORA-06105: NETTCP: remote host is unknown

Cause: Host name specified in the login (connect) string is unknown. See the solution below.

Error solution: Check spelling; make sure name is in the TCP/IP HOST file.

Database version: Oracle 11g Release 2 (11.2)
