ORA-16079: standby archival not enabled

Cause: The standby database did not have archival enabled. See the solution below.

Error solution: In order to allow the standby database to access the standby log files, the standby database must be in ARCHIVELOG mode.

Database version: Oracle 11g Release 2 (11.2)
